A Massive coup for CIVALLI to be featured on this prestigious programme (for those outside the Wales area - this programme is similar to Watchdog).

The Presenter Lucy Owen and the production team including camera men were utterly charming and professional.  They ensured that I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process.

Claire and I would like to thank Heather the Newport victim who very bravely agreed to tell her horrific story with everyone in an effort to support CIVALLI  and their work, and the other thousands of victims in the country suffering mental, physical and financial problems brought about by an industry that often puts a quick

 

profit before anything. 

MARK GROUP - LIQUIDATION TIMEBOMB FOR EMPLOYEES AND CLAIMANTS

We have news that MARK GROUP which has 40% share of the cavity insulation business in this country has gone into liquidation.

This is a massive blow to the 1100 employees of Mark Group, who probably through no fault of their own are in the dreadful position of being out of work, but also means that many thousands of victims who have or are now making claims to the Mark Group for inappropriate/failed cavity wall insulation to their properties are now left in a devastating position.

CIVALLI has cases that are in exactly this awful position.  They are the lucky ones, they have us to support and advise them of alternative routes.

Other victims should now contact CIGA Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency (details to be found on this site), and inform them of their claims against the Mark Group.

This is a massive burden to placed on CIGA.

The programme features the work of CIVALLI and its massive efforts to gain Justice for the thousand of victims of failed cavity wall insulation.  

A Newport victim Heather who owns a property in Somerton, Newport South Wales is one of the hundreds of cases that CIVALLI is helping.  There are 250 properties on this estate owned by Newport City Housing which have all had the cavity wall insulation removed as a result of terrible damp and condensation problems caused by inappropriately installed cavity insulation.

We would like to thank Heather for being brave enough to appear on the programme - she told Pauline that she would do whatever if takes to try to help others in the same terrible predicament as herself.  

She want victims out there to be made aware of CIVALLI's help which is always available.

News on Meeting at Whitehall on 1 September 2015

It was agreed that a Complaint Procedure would include historical cases.  This was raised by CIVALLI as being very important to ensure that all victims were encompassed.

When the issue of an Ombudsman was raised CIVALLI had support from others at the Meeting.

We are waiting to receive a copy of the minutes of the meeting.

 

 

 

Pauline and Claire carry on the battle for Justice

The meeting which was scheduled for two hours, lasted 3 hours and was very productive, as far as CIVALLI was concerned.

I am proud to say that we fought long and hard on behalf of the victims of botched cavity wall insulation seeking Justice, for their personal and financial suffering.

Claire was spokesperson and did all you victims proud - she represented you all with passion and provided details of our huge amount of research and case histories.
